Tonnage, brand, and model: 250 Ton – MIR machine 1998
Initial status: Machine outdated
Scope of project: Complete refurbishing to a “like new” status
Activities: New wiring, sensors, PLC, HMI, platens heating system, replacement of all seals and O-rings, hydraulic upgrade with Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) and proportional valves
Results: Running as new, minus 50% energy, 95% OEE, all components “off the shelf”, zero dependency from OEM
