Tonnage, brand, and model: 1000 Ton – ENGEL machine 1999
Initial status: Machine in disrepair
Scope of project: Complete refurbishing to a “like new” status
Activities: New wiring, sensors, PLC, HMI, toggle pins and bushings, replacement of all seals and O-rings, hydraulic upgrade with Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) and proportional valves
Results: Now running as new, minus 40% energy, 95% OEE, all components “off the shelf”, zero dependency from OEM
